"I am not what happened to me, I am what I choose to become." - Carl Jung
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I believe we have many different paths we can choose to walk down to live a genuine and fulfilling life. While the choices are always our own, sometimes we need a helping hand to move forward and navigate what comes next.
Having worked with children, adolescents, and adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, depression, interpersonal challenges, school difficulties, and so on, I believe in creating a neurodiversity affirming, trauma-informed space for you or your loved one to grow their skills, strengths, and self-compassion.
Therapy is not a "one size fits all" experience. Depending on you or your loved one's individual needs, I utilize evidence-based practices, expressive arts, and sand therapy to meet my clients where they are at.
As Fred Rogers once said, "Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone.”
The first step is reaching out.
